ZLA in collaboration with The City of Casey, has designed a vibrant upgrade to David Collins Reserve. The site forms part of the overall Frog Hollow Reserve wetland precinct in outer southeastern Melbourne. David Collins Reserve upgrade builds upon a popular neighborhood playground and features a range of new opportunities for active recreational, social gathering and improved access with new path connections linking to the Eumemmerring Creek Trail. New facilities seek to attract a broader range of age groups, abilities, and people of different cultural backgrounds from the local community and include; exercise stations, informal running track, kick-about area, and ping pong table. The reserve embraces overlooking vistas of the adjacent wetland with viewing decks, insitu seating walls and BBQ/picnic shelter.
